HVHN is a marketplace platform

Hudson Valley Hauler Network helps customers and independent service providers discover, communicate about, schedule and manage hauling-related opportunities. Unless HVHN expressly states otherwise for a specific service, providers are independent businesses responsible for their own services, equipment, personnel, licenses, permits, insurance, taxes and legal compliance. Provider classification depends on applicable law and the actual relationship, not merely contract wording.

Provider availability and results

HVHN does not guarantee that a request will receive a provider, quote, particular price, response time, completion time, income level or volume of work. Matching and ranking can consider service fit, availability, equipment, verification, reliability, workload, geography and other legitimate operational signals.

Pricing and fees

Provider quotes are private unless stated otherwise. Estimates, typical ranges and pricing guidance are informational and may differ from final scope. Before a charge is submitted, applicable platform fees should be presented in the transaction flow. Material scope changes should be documented and approved before additional charges when practicable.

Automated systems

HVHN uses rules, scoring, analytics and may use machine-assisted systems to improve matching, detect missing information, identify unusual activity, summarize feedback and improve the platform. Automated outputs may be incomplete or incorrect. HVHN reserves human review for safety, disputes, compliance, fraud, financial exceptions and other significant matters.

Data and research

Operational data may be used to provide, secure, troubleshoot, measure and improve HVHN. Feedback and usage patterns may be analyzed in aggregate or minimized form to identify product problems and opportunities. HVHN does not promise that every suggestion will be implemented. Identifiable testimonials or marketing uses require an appropriate basis and disclosure.

Payments

If marketplace payments are enabled, payment processing and provider onboarding may involve third-party payment processors and their terms. Payout timing, reserves, refunds, disputes, chargebacks and verification can be affected by processor rules and applicable law.

Safety

Customers and providers must use appropriate judgment. HVHN verification is not a guarantee of identity, safety, workmanship or future conduct. Prohibited, unsafe or unlawful requests may be rejected or removed.
